You will love this refreshing Acai Beet Smoothie. It's full of healthy nutrients that will get your body ready for the day.
The benefits of beets are huge: They help to purify the blood, enhance circulation, and support the kidneys—and that’s just the beginning. Unfortunately, not everyone likes beets. This recipe leans on the inherent sweetness and creaminess of roasted beets but is balanced with citrus and acai flavors. This smoothie is a delicious and unique healthy treat!

Acai Beet Smoothie FAQs
What is acai?
Acai is a berry fruit that grows on a palm tree. The berries are a dark blue and taste like a tart mix of raspberry and pomegranate. Commonly believed to be a superfood, you can find acai in everything from vitamin supplements to breakfast smoothies!
Can you make this smoothie ahead of time?
You can prep this smoothie ahead of time. The best way would be to gather all the ingredients and store them in a baggie in the freezer. Then simply pour the baggie into a blender when you want your smoothie.
Alternatively, you could make the smoothie in advance and freeze it. If you choose this route, I recommend freezing the smoothie into ice cubes. This way you'll still have to blend up the smoothie cubes in a blender before eating your smoothie.
